Get up early in the morning. Start at 7 AM, then 6 AM, and go for a long walk before the rest of the world gets up. Spend some quiet time to get perspective in the morning before starting your day.
Walk, run, or jog once a day. Walk on the side of the road or by a beach or a green patch. Walk at places that make you happy.
Sleep early. Try not to touch your phone or your laptop or your tablet at least an hour prior while going to bed. Read a book and write about your day when you are on your bed.
At the beginning of every month, prepare a budget plan. Decide how much you want to spend on travel, books, clothes each month and try and follow that. If you’re running out on a specific budget, then shift that purchase for the next month.
Read. If you don’t like reading, try audiobooks. Still don’t like it? then do what makes you happy. Paint, draw, sketch, write, sing, dance, do whatever makes you feel good.
Smile, smile a lot. Don’t stress about the things that you can’t change. Feel bad but get over it quickly and move on. Life is all about the moment.
Have a bath with great smelling soap. Wash your hair with fragranced shampoo, condition it thoroughly. Take your phone in the shower and listen to good music, it will automatically enhance your showering experience.
Wear clothes that make you feel good and comfortable.
Eat a nice breakfast. Cut some apples, bananas, and papaya put them in your cereal. Have a full cup of chocolate milk with it. Sit and do nothing when you eat it.
Always keep a clean backpack or handbag. Carry one which is more functional and comfortable for you.
Carry a clean and nice smelling handkerchief with you every day. Carry some biscuits for your building dog/cat. Pet them on your way to work, school, or office.
Leave early and travel at ease. Don’t be in a hurry. Observe things on the train, bus, or from the cab. You’ll learn how people are so different yet so same.
Treat people the way you would like to be treated.
If people are not nice to you, constantly take you and the things that you do for them for granted, then it’s time to cut them off. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life. Some people are just not meant to stay.
It’s not good, to be honest, all the time. Sometimes it’s better to keep yourself from telling the good and bad about people, especially to them.
Keep an organized desk, drawer, and/ or cupboard. It will make you feel that you have some control over your life.
Change your sheets and pillow covers every week. Make your bed as soon as you get up. These little things make a lot of difference.
Try and maintain a positive outlook on life and people. Even if things are not going your way, try and keep the faith and give your 200% each day.
Text your long lost friends. Go for a lunch date and speak your heart out. Laugh on your stupidity and promise to stay in touch. Try and stay in touch.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, and show up. Put on a nice dress, put on makeup. If you feel like, wear red lipstick, wear a nice perfume and walk out with confidence and a smile.
Make plans with people. Show up for them. ALWAYS.
Recognize people who value and care about you. Hold on to them and never let them go.
Start calling your parents if you don’t live with them. Start with once a month, then once a week, twice a week until you’re speaking to them every day and telling them everything about your day.
Note down 10 good things and 5 bad things about you and your day in a journal. Daily. Never repeat a good thing. Repeat bad things.
Value yourself and your loved ones. If you have a boyfriend, go on dates every week, buy him surprise gifts. Send him long, lovey-dovey text messages every night. Make him feel special for making you feel special each day.
Make a to-do list at the beginning of your day, every day. Prioritize your tasks and tick as much as you can off them at the end of your day. Put your heart in your work and do great. Learn from your juniors and your seniors.
Be satisfied with your salary. Spend only if you can afford it. Have no shame eating from small joints, using public transport. Try and save some every month. Don’t be too hung up about money. Money is not everything, peace of mind is.

Show gratitude. Thank everyone, from bus conductors to janitors. Tell your loved ones how you feel, it will encourage transparency and faith in your close relationships.
Smile, a lot, and meditate. Breathe in slow and deep when you feel slow. Take a step back and analyze things. Relax. Breathe.
Never lose faith. Life is full of adventures if you are brave enough to face and take on to them. You always have someone watching over you. )
