Shootings, Murders, Killings, and Rape

Some of the things that we were trying to escape

As a human race

But now, we are hiding our face

‘Cause we have failed as a society

Left everything to the Almighty

Making no efforts of our own

The seeds of humanity need to be re-sown

They said, “Hold on, the future will be bright.”

But at the end of this tunnel, I can’t see any light

Its high time that we mend our ways

And stop thinking that it’s just a phase

Everything that we promised to be,

Is buried somewhere in the corner and we can’t see.
