We are bigger than our fears

To be afraid is to be alive. To be scared is to be breathing and blah, blah.

If I could give you one advice, it will be that all of this is shit. Fear is not doing you any good at all. The job that you think you’re sucking at, the relationship that you just can’t work out anymore… these are all results of your fear. If I could just eliminate one thing from my life, that will have to be fear.

We are scared to take chances because we are always afraid of the ‘what ifs?’ we are unable to do a decent job at work because we are scared of failing. We can’t seem to work out that relationship because we are fearful of giving our 100% and risking our hearts. But why? Why are we so afraid of everything in our lives? We are scared of running out of time, we are scared of getting old, we are scared of losing our loved ones, we are scared of things not working out. But in this worrisome process, we tend to forget about ourselves as individuals and how we are losing ourselves in all this hullabaloo. We are not fooling anyone when we operate out of fear, people can see right through us and know that we could be so much more if fear would not have been our primary ruling instinct.

I’m sure we all must have heard of this phrase, “Confidence is silent but insecurities are loud.” And this cannot get truer than this. When we are confident, we are calm, more focused, happier and it’s pretty easy for people to see that and feel the vibe but when we lack faith in our own capabilities, there’s no one to blame for the lack of our performance but us. Take matters in your own hand, work out of love, and not fear. People who work out of love can be easily distinguished from the people who work out of fear. Because our fear cannot and should not rule us but help us and if it isn’t doing that, then it’s better to cut all ties from it and start with love.

We all have plenty of love within us to work out everything in our lives so why not take charge now and turn our lives around? We are, after all, the masters of our fate.
